Ephemeral Ink · Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) About Temporary Tattoo Usage

1.How long will my temporary tattoo last?

Our tattoos typically last 3-7 days on average. For longer wear (up to 10-14 days), avoid frequent rubbing, hot showers, swimming, and oil-based skincare products.

2.How do I apply the tattoo correctl?

  • Clean and dry your skin thoroughly (no lotion/oil).
  • Peel off the clear top sheet.
  • Press the tattoo firmly onto your skin, design side down.
  • Wet the back completely with a damp cloth, hold for 30 seconds.
  • Gently peel off the paper, let the tattoo air dry fully.

3. Are your tattoos safe for sensitive skin?

All our tattoos are made with skin-safe, non-toxic ink, tested for irritation (HRIPT certified). We always recommend doing a small patch test on your inner arm before full application, especially for sensitive skin.

4. How do I remove the tattoo easily?

Simply rub the tattoo with baby oil, coconut oil, or rubbing alcohol for 30-60 seconds, then wipe it away gently with a cloth. No harsh scrubbing needed!

5. Will the tattoo smudge or transfer?

Once fully dry (5-10 minutes after application), the tattoo is smudge-proof and transfer-resistant. Avoid touching or rubbing the area until it’s completely set.

6. Can I use the tattoo on kids?

Our tattoos are safe for kids, but always supervise application and removal. Keep away from eyes, mouth, and sensitive areas. Do a patch test first for young children.

7. Can I apply it on broken skin?

No. Please do not apply the temporary tattoo on broken, inflamed, sunburned or irritated skin to avoid discomfort or skin reactions.
